🧭 Your Starting Point: Elrath and the Beginner’s Village
As soon as you create your character in Ethernia, you’ll be introduced to Elrath — a wise and enigmatic elder who lives in the village where all players begin. The choice you make during character creation will influence Elrath’s dialogues and the challenges he presents.

🗺️ First Instructions: Interacting with the World
Elrath teaches you the fundamentals of the game through an introductory quest with the regional map. Players will learn to:
Navigate between key points in the village;
Collect basic resources;
Locate essential NPCs for progression.
This introduction serves as the first step in the player’s journey and ensures initial rewards such as basic items, XP, and possibly even the very first rune.

👥 NPC Quests and Monster Combat
After the map tutorial, Elrath will send you to interact with other characters in the village: blacksmiths, healers, hunters, and miners. Each one brings tutorials and challenges that unlock crucial aspects such as:
Equipping and using weapons;
Gathering rare materials;
Fighting monsters near the village;
Understanding rune and attribute systems.
The early monster battles teach you about cooldowns, positioning, and buffs/debuffs.

🔥 Growth and Choices
As players advance, Elrath continues to appear through story events and important decisions. He will be the one guiding you to the entrance of the Twilight Thicket, explaining the dangers of the corruption threatening Ethernia and the role of the true heir.
At this stage, players will:
Receive their first Choice Runes;
Begin shaping a personalized build;
Decide between combat, support, crafting, or hybrid paths.

🛡️ End of the Introduction: Preparing for the Greater World
The initial arc with Elrath concludes when players:
Earn the village’s trust;
Unlock teleportation to the capital or starting dungeons;
Are ready to begin PvE and PvP progression quests.
From this point on, the world opens up. But Elrath can still be found in key places, acting as a mentor and central figure in the main storyline.
