Ethernia offers freedom when it comes to building your character.

Every attribute point and equipped rune drastically shapes your playstyle. However, throughout the closed beta, certain combinations proved to be extremely effective, forming the current PvE and PvP meta.
Still, the build system is completely free. Nothing stops you from creating a character that heals, mines, and still casts fireballs — though in this case, you’ll be more versatile, but less specialized. This hybrid style can surprise in many situations but will demand more strategy and mastery of the game.

Here are the 5 main full-build paths and how they work:

🌿 1. Healing Path (Full Healer)
Best for: dungeon support, boss fights, and team PvP.
Key Runes: Area Heal, Cooldown Reduction, Vital Aura.
Suggested Attributes: VIT + LUK.
Players who follow this path become indispensable in groups. Their area recovery skills, blessings, and death resistance make the difference in high-level content.

❄️ 2. Cold Mage (Ice Magic Offense)
Best for: crowd control and AoE damage.
Key Runes: Explosive Frost, Paralyzing Ice, Freezing Thorns.
Suggested Attributes: INT + LUK.
The ice mage build is excellent for freezing enemies, slowing them down, and controlling multiple opponents in both PvE and PvP. Its damage scales based on mana management and positioning.

🔥 3. Fire Mage (Hot Magic Offense)
Best for: raw, aggressive damage.
Key Runes: Living Flame, Blazing Burst, Solar Explosion.
Suggested Attributes: INT + DEX.
Fire magic is all about explosions, continuous burn damage, and destructive AoE. Players who choose this path shine in burst damage and boss battles, especially when combined with buffs and support.

This is the classic build for those who enjoy diving into the fray. Physical warriors or rogues prioritize direct attack, critical chance, and survivability. Perfect for PvP and short-range boss encounters.

Best for: economy, resource progression, and team buffs.
Key Runes: Magic Hand, Artisan’s Luck, Sacred Mining.
Suggested Attributes: LUK + DEX or STR (depending on secondary build).
Players who choose this path focus on creating equipment, extracting valuable resources, and enhancing performance with crafting buffs. In PvE, they can empower allies with potions and rare gear.
